Refund policy

This policy explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds work at Clovaria. For shipping scope and delivery rules, please see our Shipping Policy.
1) UK Statutory Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you reside in the United Kingdom, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your goods, for any reason, with no questions asked. This statutory right applies in addition to (and independently of) our voluntary return policy described in Section 2.
To exercise your statutory right to cancel:
- E-mail support@clovaria.com with your order number and a clear statement of cancellation, or
- Use the model cancellation form provided at the end of this policy (Section 13), or
- Make any other clear statement to us of your decision to cancel.
We will refund all payments received from you (including the cost of standard delivery) within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, or, if later, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Goods must be returned in unused condition with original packaging. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty or not as described, in which case Section 3 applies.
2) Voluntary Return Policy
In addition to your statutory rights (Section 1 for UK customers; Section 3 for faulty goods), we offer a voluntary 14-day return window from delivery, for any reason, in all our markets (United Kingdom, United States, and United Arab Emirates).
The following conditions apply to all voluntary returns:
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging, with all security seals intact.
- We do not offer exchanges. Please return and reorder.
- Please do not send items back without authorization. Start your return to obtain a prepaid label first (if eligible).
UK customers: this voluntary 14-day window runs concurrently with your statutory 14-day cooling-off right in Section 1. The voluntary window does not reduce or replace your statutory rights in any way.
3) Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Incomplete Items (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If goods are faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, you have additional statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (sections 20–22), including a 30-day right to reject for a full refund. These rights are separate from the cooling-off right in Section 1 and the voluntary return window in Section 2.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, e-mail support@clovaria.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number, and
- 3 photos from different angles showing the issue.
We will resolve this promptly — reshipment or a full refund (including any original outbound shipping fee, if paid). Where we organize the return of faulty goods, return shipping is at our cost.
4) Initiating a Return (Free Prepaid Label, where applicable)
To qualify for free return shipping, please use our prepaid return label. Returns sent without our label are not eligible for free return service and will not be accepted.
- If you created an account at checkout: Visit account.clovaria.com, open your order, and select "Start a Return" to generate your prepaid return label.
- Guest checkout / e-mail preference: E-mail your order number to support@clovaria.com and we will send you your prepaid return label.
Return addresses are listed in Section 11.
5) Packing and Shipping Your Return
Pack the items securely to prevent damage during shipping. Include all components and accessories. Attach the prepaid return label and drop the package off at the carrier indicated on the label. Keep your drop-off receipt or tracking number for your records.
Use one prepaid label per order. If you wish to consolidate multiple orders into one box, please email us first. Unauthorized consolidations may delay processing.
6) Refund Method & Timing (Voluntary Returns)
After your return arrives at our warehouse:
- Inspection: Within 3 business days.
- Refund initiation: Within 10 business days after arrival.
We will email you when processed. Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to post the credit. No restocking fees. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
(For UK statutory cancellations under Section 1, refund timing follows the 14-day rule in Section 1.)
7) When Voluntary Returns Are Not Accepted
Voluntary returns under Section 2 may be ineligible in the following situations:
- Outside the 14-day voluntary return window from delivery.
- Opened/used items or products with broken seals/compromised packaging, unless a defect/abnormality is discovered after opening (Section 3 applies).
- Items returned without authorization.
- Items not in original condition (missing components, tampered packaging).
- Returns damaged in transit due to insufficient packing.
If a voluntary return is ineligible, we will notify you by email and return the items to you at no charge. No refund is issued. Your statutory rights under Section 1 (UK cooling-off) and Section 3 (faulty goods) are not affected.
8) Lost, Delayed, or "Delivered" but Not Received
If tracking is stalled or delivery is overdue, email your order number to support@clovaria.com and we will contact the carrier.
If the carrier cannot substantiate delivery to your address, we will arrange a refund or reshipment. If the carrier can substantiate delivery, the order is considered delivered and a refund is not issued.
9) Order Changes, Address Corrections & Undeliverable Parcels
Before shipment, we can correct your address and proceed. After shipment, we will request an intercept/recall to our warehouse, cancel the order, and refund according to this policy — no extra charge to you. Parcels that are undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses follow the same intercept/recall → cancel → refund flow.
10) Communication
You will receive emails for order confirmation, tracking, return received, and refund processed. If anything looks off, contact support@clovaria.com.

12) Payments & Merchant of Record
Payments are processed via Shopify Payments on behalf of STATU GLOBAL LTD (United Kingdom) as the Merchant of Record. Your bank or card statement may display "STATU GLOBAL LTD" and/or "CLOVARIA". The merchant responsible for your specific transaction is the entity identified at checkout and in your order confirmation.
13) Model Cancellation Form (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Schedule 3)
